This is a story of how I was able to fix a broken and long forgotten LCD monitor. This is a cheap CTX monitor, but I’ve seen this method work on other brands of monitors and I think it is a pretty common problem.

This is an update to my first post about connecting a stepper motor to an Arduino or other microcontroller.
As one one of my first projects with my new Arduino I thought I would try to hook up a stepper motor. I had a few laying around from old computer hardware I had taken apart and now I finally have the resources to hook them up. I’ve been watching the goings on at the several hacker spaces which are popping up around the world.
